Wow, some surprisingly high praise there.
Uhmm, don't you think everything is happening rather fast here? Although I saw it on the first day it was released, I had to gather my thoughts until this day for a decent review. And, after merely a week since the movie was released, I am able to post what I've written. I would've loved to submit my opinions for LAMB scores, but every movie is opening/closing so fast that I'm not able to catch up.
Maybe we should slow down a bit...
Theoretically, I agree with you. But this being the internets, it's all about freshness it seems (right or wrong), so in keeping with that, I'd like to get the LAMBScore for a new release up between 5-7 days after it hits theaters. And really, the majority of the reviews are going to come during that timeframe, as most people (for any new release) have a review up usually by Monday (not even I am that fast, typically.
For a smaller and/or indie film, I will let the topic stay open for considerable longer, but for the 1 or 2 super-wide releases, I plan on having this up by the following Friday at the latest.
No pressure, though... ;)
Median is 3.5 Same as the mean. Also, this is boring even me now, and I thought I had reached new levels of boredom this summer.
Hard to respond back to all of those comments, Graham, but I want you to know I really enjoyed that breakdown. Funny as hell with your running commentary.
Sounds like the overall difference between the mean and the median isn't all that great. Any conclusions on your "study?"
