Image via WikipediaOkay all you smarty-pants LAMBs; you taught me something. I can see these movie trivia questions need to be much harder. In an effort to make this process easier for me, I made the last question much too easy for you. As a result, 10 people answered it correctly.
Please see the bottom of this post for what I hope will be a much harder question.
Here's the last question again:
Which famous actor was a professional boxer, did a stint as a ghostwriter for an astrologer, served time for marijuana possession and also became blind for a while because of job stress?
The answer:
Robert Mitchum
Some of you threw me a bone and said that you almost guessed someone else, which made me feel slightly less inadequate. So thank you for that.
Here are the winning LAMBs:
Steph from The Chick Flick
Tony Dayoub from Cinema View Finder
Jason Soto from Invasion of the B Movies
Nick from Random Ramblings of a Demented Doorknob
Dean Treadway from Filmicability with Dean Treadway
Jess from Insight into Entertainment
Kirby Holt from Movie Dearest
Becca Whitaker from No Smoking in the Skullcave
General Disdain from The Critical Critics
Thanks to everyone who participated. Why not try your luck on the next question?
Here's the next question:
A movie was released sometime in the last decade that had a scene featuring a character wearing a yarmulke covered with images of playing cards. Name the movie and the actor.
To qualify, your answer must include the following:
- Both parts of the answer
- Your name
- Your blog's name
- Your blog's URL

That's what did it for me ... otherwise, I wouldn't have had a clue.

lol... could you be any harder? ONE piece of clothing in ONE scene in ONE movie in the last TEN years? That's nuts.
It's still possible to come up with the answer. I am completely obliterated by the Invasion Of The Lambs puzzles, and yet others are knocking out those with no problem.
Sorry Nick! My orders from Fletch were to make the questions very hard.
DJ e-mailed me the right answer, so it is doable. If you saw the movie, the question isn't that difficult. And there is actually a way to research it, but of course I'm not going to say what it is.
And BTW, DJ, I'm completely stumped by the Invasion of the LAMBs puzzles too.
Ya, Carla. I should have caught the one for The Science of Sleep, but it was a vague recollection at best. It wasn't until I read the comments that it clicked for me.
Yes, hard, hard trivia! Very nice, Carla.
And I'm glad at least some people are stumped by the Invasions. :)
