Poll Results; New Poll
In time to coincide with the latest LAMBcast episode, I want to know what fall/winter release you're looking forward to the most. I narrowed the choices down to 25 for the poll (which was almost impossible), but if your pick isn't listed please let me know in the comments.

Got a Press Release, something to Plug, or a Screener available for review (or some combination of the three)? Ok, don't get all crazy about it. Just click here and give me the details (what, when, where, and a link, for starters) - I'll handle the rest.

LAMBcast #81: Fall/Winter Preview (aka Our Top 5s for the Rest of the Year)
So many films, so little time. There was some worry early on that there would be overlap with a lot of our individual top fives, but that proved not to really be the case, as there's a wide array of interesting flicks coming down the pike in the next few months. So many films that (spoiler alert!) not a single person chose either of Spielberg's flicks or Scorsese's kids' movie. And to top it all off, we had another "only in a LAMBcast" moment, but I won't spoil that for you just yet. Your host Dylan was joined by Nick, Sebastian, Tom and Sam. Apologies in advance for some slight audio wonkiness that can be heard during the show.
Also on tap:
* Rants of the Week
* Raves of the Week
* Last LAMB Standing
![]()
If you're interested, you too can be a LAMBcaster - we love new blood! For more information on the LAMBcast, check out the topic at the LAMB Forums. Music provided royalty-free by Kevin MacLeod's Incompetech website. Big thanks to Kevin for providing this service. The LAMBcast loves feedback, too. Either here in the comments section or to dylan@manilovefilms.com or to our Facebook page. Also, we're on iTunes, and would still love a review, even if it's a bad one.
Thanks for listening!
Invasion of the Lambs #22
Many sites have screencap quizzes, but how many are invaded by LAMBs? Every Saturday, I'll post a screenshot, only the actors' heads will be "lambed out" - all you gotta do is be the first to name the film that the lambs have overtaken.

The next Movie of the Month will be...
The poll results are in - thank you to the 80 voters (tying the record high) who took part. The next MOTM will be Bande à parte. Here's what needs to go down from here:
* The first thing you need to know is that September 24th is the big day.
* You have four weeks to watch the flick (if you haven't already) and to write up something, then send me the link (dylan at manilovefilms.com) to either what you write or something previously written. If you're planning on doing the former, please hold the post in draft until the 20th (you can send a link prior if you have the capability to do so).
* On September 17th, we'll be recording our MOTM-themed episode of the LAMBcast, where we'll dissect and discuss Bande à parte. If you'd like to get in on it - well, this time around the show is already booked full, so perhaps next month. Keep an eye out at the LAMB Forums to for the future shows schedule.
* On the 24th, the LAMBcast will be posted, as well as all of the links to anything written. In addition, I'll include a poll to decide what the next MOTM flick will be. If you have suggestions, leave them in the comments here (I typically drop off the films that receive the lowest percentage of votes). That poll will run for a week, and then there'll be 3-4 weeks until the next event, and so on.
Here are the final results of the poll:
* Bande à parte, Swimming with Sharks, and The Hunt for Red October will be removed from the next poll, leaving three spots open for new suggestions.

March to Box Office Madness 2011 Final Results - UPDATE!
In fact, we have TWO winners!
I don't know if my scoring system for this tournament is ingenious or idiotic, but suffice it to say that it's all in Excel and is dependent on formulas. Makes it great and easy in that I don't have to manually add anything...but there's one major flaw in the setup: it's dependent on everyone copying & pasting and/or using the exact lettering that I have for the film titles. I try to go in at the beginning of the season and clean 'em up, but (of course), I miss some. And in this case, a big one!
Nicholas R. also scored 72 points, to tie Nick J. On top of that, they tied with the tie-breaker, too, so we truly have co-champions. Congrats to all people named Nick or Nicholas in the tournament!
So...look closely at your entry and the master - if you see any errors, you have two more days to let me know. Thanks, and I apologize for the error!
